SHIP PICTURES

Ok, it's time for a review of the ship (at least what pics I could get of it). I will go deck by deck and show you the area's that I was able to obtain pictures of.

Here is a link to the Deck Plans

We will start with the lowest deck

DECK 1: CORAL REEF

The Coral Reef Lounge. This place was absolutely beautiful. I loved the decor and it was an under water theme. It's too bad we forgot about the area and never went back down there after finding it when we were exploring on day one. I wonder what they do down there? Just a lounge to drink at? Do they have shows? I really don't know.

DECK 2: FLIP FLOP

Arcade: This wasn't your normal room full of games to play, it was a long strip along the wall that was full of things to do. We really never seen too many people in there at any given time and we were by here a lot. Have games gotten too expensive to play these days? Probably.

Far Side of the World Lounge: We spent a LOT of time here. They hosted the trivia games here and also various dance classes. You would also find a bar and the sushi bar here.

Fins Main Dining Room: It's the exact same as the Islander Dining Room and I thought I had taken pictures of it, but now I can't find them so I will share the Islander Dining pics when I get to the next floor.

Flip Flop Atrium: The most photographed area you will find online for this ship because of the larger than life flip flop. The Atrium goes all the way up to the top of the ship and is all open. It is absolutely gorgeous and you guessed it...water and tropical themed. There was floating fish and birds and even a plane at the top.

Oh my gosh, I spotted Flying Fish!

They had the cutest little boat chairs and high back chairs along the side of the atrium. What a nice added touch!

Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits: This is your go-to bar for unique creations made by the bar staff. They would have a band playing there nightly too.

The Hot Hot Hot Night Club: We went in while it was closed (and dark in there) but it looked like a really neat place to go and dance. It was 2 stories and had a "disco" dance floor on the lower level. I can remember being on Carnival during Easter once and going in the same area for the kids dance party after the Easter Egg Hunt.

Margaritaville Casino: Yep, where we would spend a lot of time...and money. :D It felt a lot smaller than most ships but then again I could just be comparing it to some of the newer and bigger ships that we've been on recently and just not remembering what the smaller ships are like.

Pearls Private Dining: We took a peak in here to see what it was since it just said "Pearls Dining" on the outside and we never did see anyone coming or going from here. Maybe this is for the people in the Suites?

Stars on the Water Theater: A 3 story theater for all the shows

DECK 3: LIVIN IT UP

A1A: We found this area by mistake...and then never seen it again after that. It was 2 long hallways down both sides of the ship and at the end there was a sign that said it was the work out room up the stairs. I guess you get a work out just trying to get the the room. But, this area was really pretty and had seating along the sides to glare out the window and it was QUIET in this area. If you are one that brings a book along, this is the place for you to sit and relax and you won't hear any sounds of the ship or the people on it.

Bubbles Up Lounge: Another bar area with a piano and they create a specialty drink with a floating bubble on top of it (look it up on youtube).

HAVANA DAYDREAMIN SPORTS BAR: This was a cute little area but I'm going to let you in on a funny. I've seen pictures of this car online and I totally thought it was a real car...like life sized! LOL It is not.

Islander Dining Room: The upstairs dining room (same as the one on the first floor). There were reports coming in that you could eat free in one of them but they charged in the other. Like why??? It's the same dining room with the same food. When we went, this was not the case. Both were free.

LOVELY CRUISE PHOTO STUDIO AND FUTURE CRUISE area. You can look up your cruise photos on the computers by swiping your key card and order from there all the pictures you want. The price of photos are $20 EACH no matter the size they said. They do have different photo packages (5 pictures or 10 pictures) for reduced prices, which is a better deal of course. They do have printed pictures hanging up along the wall. I believe these are not the actual pictures of anyone on the ship during the sailing (because they were already up there when we got on with events that haven't even happened yet) and mainly for looks. ALSO...when you pick your photos/package, they INSTANTLY print them off and hand them to you at check out. No need to wait for them to be ready and you go pick them up or for them to be delivered to your room. Way to go Margaritaville!

Here are the places Margaritaville is cruising to. They are adding longer cruises all the time.

RETAIL SHOPS: This area was cute and they had plenty to offer... EXCEPT the little cruise ship replica ornaments that I (and so many other people collect). BOO HISS!

They had the most adorable little wooden Pelicans that I admired the entire cruise (among other cute beach items). And, if you want a glass flip flop, this would be the place to obtain one and take home to display.

THE HANGOUT TWEEN CLUB: This is for the older kids. They did have another area (beside the game room) that had pool tables, but you had to be registered with the kids club in order to use it. (I did not get a picture of that room because it was only open during certain times and was locked all but the one time I peeped in and forgot to take a picture).

This floor also has a large ship replica on display

DECK 4: COSTAL CONFESSIONS

FINS UP FITNESS CENTER: We did peek in here once (after the winding roads of A!A, but there were so many people in here working out that I didn't want to take a picture). This is a pretty small area for a fitness center on a cruise ship.

DECK 5: CHANGES IN ATTITUDE

This is where you will find the "little" kids club, which I did not take pictures of. Sorry.

DECK 6-8: STATEROOMS

DECK 9: 5 O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE

5 O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE POOL: I believe this is the pool area that has the retractable roof top that can be closed if the weather is bad. I believe when we were on the Carnival Pride, they had theirs closed as we sailed away because it was cold, then opened it after we hit nice, warm weather.

CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE: Yummy make your own cheeseburgers with all the fixins' and they have a fixins' bar along the side to add to it as well as condiments.

FRANK AND LOLA'S PIZZERIA: Located inside the buffet dining area.

LANDSHARK POOL: Another pool right past the other pool.

MARGARITAVILLE COFFEE SHOP; This will cost you extra. The hubby (and sometimes Karl) are the only one's who drinks coffee so we did not utilize this place. I mean there's free coffee from the ship right in front of this area. Now since I'm not personally a coffee drinker, I cannot speak to this BUT there were several posts on social media stating that the free coffee on the ship actually tasted better than what they had purchased. You be the judge. They also offered pastries and breakfast items. I will include pricing.

MEXICAN CUTIE CANTINA: Make your own taco's or bowl's here. Pick what you like and then head over to the salsa bar for extras.

PORT OF INDECISION BUFFET: enough said...it's a buffet

ST SOMEWHERE SALON: You can get your hair "did" and also a.....ready for this....A TATTOO! But sign up early because there seems to be such a high demand for getting a tattoo while at sea that they fill up quickly.

ST SOMEWHERE SPA: Get pampered here if it's your thing.

TIKI BAR POOL: This is the pool at the back of the ship and is the "adult" area. The pool is SMALL. The few times we looked back there it was more crowded back there than you would find at any of the other pools on a sea day. They also had a place to get food "Island Eats" but you had to pay for it.

DECK 10 LUCKY STAR

JWB PRIME STEAKHOUSE: This is a paid specialty restaurant.

LANDSHARK BAR: This is a very small bar located high up on the deck and also has stairs that lead up even higher for a look out area. Most people wanted to be up there as you cross under the bridge and they say it's the best spot to have for viewing.

DECK 11: CARIBBEAN AMPHIBIAN

CARIBBEAN AMPHIBIAN PLAY PAD AND SLIDE-A place for all your littles to play at. I will tell you this...I touched the big round balls at the top (I just wanted to see if they were hard or cushiony) and I walked away with my entire hand completely black. I don't know if the sun was melting the material or what but it was icky. Keep that in mind if you let your littles play up there. They may walk away with the bodies and clothes black.

DIS 'N DAT ACTIVITY ZONE: Multiple activities for your family to enjoy. Just know that in order to play any of them, you will have to walk down 2 decks to the towel area by the pool to get the items needed to play any of them!

CORN HOLE: This area was definitely different and unique and a lot of fun. Although beware, it's not your normal corn hole.

On the other side of the ship and along the back you will find the PUTT PUTT area.

You'll find a PICKLE BALL COURT along the back side too.

The WATER SLIDE is up here. If you look online, you'll find video's of people going down the slide and inside is really cool! So if you (or your littles) like water slides, even though this is the only one of the ship, it can be fun.

A few pictures of the funnel on the ship all nicely painted.

And just for fun...a few EXTRAS around the ship

A few extra "mentions about the ship:

I found it extremely odd that a lot of the restrooms had toilet paper holders on both sides? I don't think I've see that before.

Also in the restrooms, the hand towels that you pull down to dry your hands are PAPER THIN! It's almost as bad as using the toilet paper itself. (They are also not perforated so they go on forever until you stop pulling them and tear it yourself) Do yourself a favor and just go beyond that to where you go out the door and use the actual paper towels they want you to pull down to use to open the door with. You're welcome.

Ok, that's all I have for the ship tour. You'll get to see more as the review goes on.
