PASEO HERENCIA

Paseo Herencia is an old village style plaza surrounded by great shopping, dining and a state of the art cinema featuring nightly liquid fireworks shows and musical performances against a backdrop of a unique blend of Aruban architectural designs and an expose of Aruban Heritage. Paseo Herencia is located in the area of Palm Beach, just walking distance from the high rise hotels.

Carillon bells from the clock tower call island visitors to Aruba’s newest entertainment center, the Paseo Herencia Mall, only a few minutes stroll from any of Aruba’s high-rise resorts.

Paseo Herencia boasts a diversity of stylish stores offering quality goods and a panoply of eateries serving anything to suite one’s mood, as well as nightly entertainment and special events.

Designer shops are stocked with the trendiest of fashions and famous labels. All shops are open seven nights a week, from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, and from 5:00pm to 10:00pm on Sunday.

Whether in a romantic mood with a new spouse, or looking for reasonably priced family fare, Paseo Herencia has charming eateries offering breakfast, lunch and dinner that will suite your mood and budget.

A complete evening includes dining options of charming al fresco dining at cafes that circle the main plaza, or air-conditioned comfort where patrons can choose from American, Oriental, Mexican, Cuban, Continental, Italian and Caribbean cuisine or seafood before or after enjoying a movie in Aruba’s most luxurious cineplex with six screens.

The architecture and accoutrements of Paseo Herencia were planned to provide an informative insight into Aruban history and culture; with enlightening tidbits scattered throughout the gallery and the Plaza Padu.

The central stage hosts regularly scheduled special presentations and community events throughout the year as well as the four nightly “Waltzing Waters” presentation next to the pool.

It is fun for all ages, often offering an insight into authentic Aruban culture and traditions where the audience is frequently an active participant.

A day or evening at Paseo Herencia is not only a memorable time spent in Aruba, but a learning experience!

We spent a lot of nights here at Paseo Herencia. It was one of the places I wanted to visit when we came by cruise ship earlier in the year, but never got a chance to go.

It's a great place for families to hang out at, shop, enjoy the entertainment, eat at one of the many restaurants and then there's the water light show, merry-go-round and so on.

One of the great things about this shopping mall/center is the evening light show (They call it the Liquid Light Show). It happens every evening at 7:30, 8:30, & 9:30pm.

Whenever we are in Aruba, I will definitely come back here. It's a great place to hang out at, shop, and eat dinner.
