We did find the rooms to be spacious and very comfortable. We have stayed in rooms like this before and have always enjoyed them.

The "bedroom" portion has a small wall to kind of "cut-off" the rest of the room from it, but yet it's still open.

The living room couch was on the larger side compared to most we have been in and had 4 cushions on it instead of the normal 3 cushions. It made out into a huge bed.

There was an area off to the side with it's "own" little space. It had a desk for office use, refrigerators and web bar in it.

Everything was clean and very nicely decorated.

My Final thoughts:

Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, I would. It was a beautiful hotel, nicely decorated, and it a decent location. If you do not have transportation, you are able to walk to various locations for food and it's a short walk to the Riverwalk and areas for entertainment.

Since this place is located in the Warehouse district, you won't have a beautiful site outside your window, but you can catch a glimpse of the cruise ships in port since you are only blocks from there.

The grocery store (Rouse) is several blocks away compared to some of the hotels located over on Poydras, but you can get there by foot to pick up items needed for the cruise (we went and had no issues).
