Final thoughts:
Would I recommend this place? Yes, I would. It's a great location to everything you could possibly need all within walking distance. The place was being updated when we were there and it was starting to look really nice, just like the other Springhill Suites we have stayed in before. The decor was nice and updated.
The hotel was realy nice and tastefully decorated.
They had a huge dining area where you could sit down and order food and it would also be the area they had their nightly party and morning breakfast.
The pool area was small, but we did not get a chance to use it.
The bedrooms were really nice and I liked that it had an actual bedroom away from the living room. The bathroom had access to both the bedroom and to the main area as well.
The HAPPY HOUR was not at all like I expected. I have stayed in several hotels that offer this happy hour and they all put this place to shame. Happy hour consisted of a few crackers and some type of noodles with peppers in it. Not appealing AT ALL! But...they did have POPCORN! There is an iHop right across the street so at least we didn't starve.
You get 1 free drink...however, they are the "house" drink and nothing that I would even consider liking. But I will say they were pretty strong!
